Sports Architects in Mumbai
Mumbai is the hardest sports planning problem in India, and the most interesting one. There is no spare land, so the facility goes up rather than out — onto podiums, roofs and stacked floors — and every one of those moves brings problems a ground-level court never has.

Sport on structure. A court on a podium is a structural, acoustic and drainage problem before it is an architectural one — loading, deflection, impact noise transferring to the floors below, waterproofing, falls that shed water without affecting play, wind at height, and a maintenance route that does not run through someone’s apartment lobby. All cheaper to resolve on the concept drawing than anywhere later.
Vertical stacking. When facilities stack, the clear height of each floor becomes the whole argument — badminton cannot share a section with a gym, and a hall squeezed under a podium slab is a hall nobody wants to play in. The section is drawn first, always.
Coastal and monsoon conditions. Salt-laden air attacks fixings, fittings and structure; the monsoon removes outdoor provision for weeks unless something is covered. Material selection and covered provision are concept decisions here, not specification details.
